Featured Mystery Japan Bobble Head Cat Planter

    I am in the process of thinning my collections, but don't have a maker name to associate with this piece. I do not have a Holt Howard book, and while the style and Japan label at one point had me leaning a bit in that direction, I don't believe it is. The material, colors, and overall look are similar but seem different, and I cannot find this piece firmly attributed to any maker.
    Might anyone here have any suggestions/thoughts?
    (Oh, and this guy was included in an old blog post of mine, so you'll find it an image search ... which for me hasn't been much help.)

    sorry, no help with who made it, but I looked and it is not in the 2nd Edition of Price Guide to Holt Howard Collectibles by Walter Dworkin:)

    Adorable. Looks like maybe HH or Davar. But that is just a guess.
