Mystery brooch - Style? Age? Poss. Arts and Crafts?

    Appears to be brass. 3" wide and a little over 1" high. C clasp.

    Very recent: that japanned back, the texture and the clasp all point to it. In the style of older Scandinavian naturalist pieces.
