    Hi Everyone,

Can anyone help identify the maker of this antique bronze clock? It measures 14 inches tall and has an "AP" or "AR" monogram on the bottom of each elephant head foot (foundry mark?).

    TIA,
    Biju

THIS site shows a very similar AP mark and claims it's French but has no further info.

Yup .. . viewing the entire back plate of the movement is super helpful. The French definitely brought metal casting skill & detail to a high art in the 19th c.
