Picked this up today for $1 and later found out it can't be any newer than 1912. Pretty good condition. This company mainly made silverware but they did make jewelry as well. What went inside this box? It has little holes so maybe it was a stickpin or possibly a brooch at one time? Thoughts? Also got this little blue ring box marked Germany on the bottom. Looks to be early 1900s as well. 20171008_204108_resized.jpg 20171008_204116_resized.jpg 20171008_204132_resized.jpg 20171008_204216_resized.jpg 20171008_204229_resized.jpg 20171008_204240_resized.jpg 20171008_204248_resized.jpg

Oooo - what pretty little boxes.
I bet a tall brooch went in that first box.

There's nothing there to secure an item, so I'm guessing whatever was in it filled the box. Maybe a cigarette case?

That's certainly possible. Card case maybe, too, depending on the size. The other is of course a ring box.

Thanks! I'm just gonna throw a few stick pins in it since that's what it looks like from whomever used it before.
