Choppy here as well. Server cannot keep up and is constantly buffering. youtube should help as their compression algorithm and streaming are much better.

Playing smooth here now. Maybe get your video guy to see why you're not getting a 16:9 aspect ratio so the video will fill the youtube player.

You definitely have a lot of equipment in your shop. Must have taken quite some time.

I didn't watch all of the videos. Got any CNC or programmable controller stuff?

Yuasa Accumill ca. 1980’s, with orig Fanuc controls. Haven’t run it yet.

Ah, thanks. I've been on the software side of industrial automation controls since the early 90s. Mainly AB stuff, but did create a pretty neat virtual troubleshooting application on Fanuc AC drives for field service folks.

Interesting. Our mill buzzes a little when we turn it on, and immediately trips the internal 50 amp breaker, so some trouble-shooting will be required when we get time to work on it.

Here’s video of first attempt to run it

Someone is going to have 'fun' working through the electrical in that cabinet. Maybe you'll get lucky, but those older controls can be a money pit.

Yes, I’m afraid there’s a lot of checking that needs doing, so that machine will wait until the right person shows up. I don’t presently have any work that really needs CNC capability.

No boredom there ! If I only knew how to use 2/3rd's of that stuff .... just give me a power band saw and a welder and I'll make something....lol.... just made frame mounted camper tie downs for my Ford Truck last week.... I am thinking I could make the whole camper there given enough time.......

Glad it was something relatively simple.

I didn’t belabor it in the video but the real act that woke it up was taking a close look at the emergency stop button, remembering a day I spent recently trying to start a radial drill with its emergency stop button pushed “in.” I had thought it was a momentary contact switch, but no, needs to be pulled out to restart. Same deal with this one however some fine print on the button says “reset” with a clockwise arrow. Live and learn.
