    Thought I would share this wonderful collection of spoons I purchased at a local auction. 35 spoons are either 800 or sterling. The spoons from Germany are my favs! The charm bracelets also came with the lot. Most marked either 10K or 14K. The collection of gold flatware I posted earlier was also included. Not a bad lot!!!

    lovely Grand Tour (without Jeremy Clarkson, impersonator of the complete jingo idiot when it comes to behaviour and knowledge of the contintent.....).
    even a special spoon for use in the ambulances, how lovely.:)

    I did look - do you mean the Seethaler thread, with the silver gilt pieces? (Got a bit excited, gold flatware is very unusual...)
