Got this ring at the scrapper for exact scrap value of the gold $300. It is marked 14k BITA for Effy Bita. I know the company sells average quality jewelry for very high markups. It is very blingy... almost too blingy for me! The yellow and white diamonds are a cool look! Although I am dtill not sure how to wear this yet lol!

The scrapper sold you worthless rocks for the price of gold

    He's happy

The scrapper sold him an Effy Bita ring that cost over $10,000 when new, and can still fetch a nice sum.

    Spart is happy.;)

Thanks all! I can't imagine the original buyer paying retail for it at effy and then selling it for less than 300 to scrap!

I know effy exclusively makes jewelry for women but I feel this ring is big enough and not too feminine in design so it could be worn unisex.

whomever bought it first was not the person who sold it to the scrapper.....and the scrapper may have accounted for the weight of the stones when buying it .....& should have done some research on the mark.........

lucky for u .....he did not !

She who sold it to the scrapper probably got it at a yard sale for peanuts, and figured scrap - 30% was a LOT more than she paid.

Not a clue - too new for me by a mile. I'd probably be the one who scrapped it.(LOL)

I had the yellow diamonds measured and there is 1.2 ctw and the little white diamonds are roughly .4ctw or so! I don't know the resale value either but there are some effy ring sold listing on eBay

the total cwt is a good selling point...but the stones by themselves are too small to be of any great value........by themselves.... on the ring....they add BLING !!!!
