Can this piece be attributed to a certain maker?
Also, any term for the used decoration technique?
    Thanks.

Looking around.....I think GIOSSA is a search word you may want to use.

image.jpg image.jpg Could not find a siggy. The base is not well polished as it may appear on the pics.

Wow - all I can say is that if it didn't have the label on it - I would have said China import.

Try tutti fruity (sp) with adventurine as search words

I tried searching with "Giossa" but can't quite figure what the term means. Is it the technique used, it bolonged to a certain maker, just any decoration with multi colored glass and drippy streaks? Most of the pieces described with that term have canes type of decoration. On my vase there are random size and shapes colored glass.
Tutti Frutti seems to describe multi colored Murano glass. If not wrong, the surface is smooth on those pieces. Here the surface is uneven and bumpy.
I guess what they did was to roll the vase over glass shards but did not smoothen it.
It may be hard to attribute it to a certain maker unless I find something similar. The not completely polished base may help with the maker as well.

After looking at your pictures again, maybe frit is the wrong term.

Not frit, but certainly tutti frutti aventurine. Sold in the tens of thousands in shops in Venice.
