Featured multi colored bakelite? wide bangle bracelet with wood trim?

I thought it was a very interesting bracelet and was wondering if anyone might have any info on it?

 

Id say more 70's,rainbows were very in.

 

Acrylic, best guess. Bakelite would have seams if it were designed that way; this doesn't.

 

Is the main material wood? (Helpful to show several angles in your photos, inside, edge, etc.)

Another question, diameter looks a bit small in the photo. Wanted to confirm that this is definitely big enough to fit over a wrist.

 

no the only wood that's there is on either end, sorry if it looks small I do have pretty big hands being 6ft4 it definitely wouldn't fit over mine but I'm sure at 3" across inside, I'm sure it would fit over a petite to average size hand. it looks turned to me instead of molded not sure though

Every bit of white Bakelite has turned yellow to orange within two years as far as I know.

At 3 inches across inside it would all but fall off the average woman. Three inches interior diameter is huge. The standard is about 2 1/2 to 2 5/8. I'm holding one that's 3 in my hand; I'm not a small woman and it falls off if I fold my hand in a bit.

 

Does the inside look the same as the outside or is it a solid color?

 

Second pic looks like an inside view, all the way through. I'm with acyrlic on this, it's far too white to be an early plastic.

 

I'm now on the same page as acrylic some very valid points made that I had forgotten about in my old age...

 

It's a super bangle, I really like it.
