Mrs. R.E Harvey, Worthy Matron Martha Chapter No.4 O.E.S Anna A. Harvey, oil painting.

I'm only reporting this in a new thread so that if anyone else searching for those initials will hopefully run across this and find out information about her.

Anna Harvey (Mrs. Robert E.) born about 1860 in Ohio, living in Washington DC and working as a teacher of china and oil painting in 1910.

Anna Harvey was also a Worthy Matron of the Martha Chapter No.4 O.E.S, Order of the Eastern Star, 1915.

A Worthy Matron is the leader of the Chapter. She makes sure the Chapter flows effortlessly. The duties of the OES Worthy Matron is never to be enlightened to anyone other than an OES Worthy Matron.

Mrs. Harvey was installed as Worthy Matron in December 1914.
