Can anyone tell me about these actor portraits? Thanks.

 

Gina, as the actors are already identified by name are you asking about the card itself? If so, I'd assume it's a modern compilation as all were actors in Western B movies before the advent of color film.

Looks like cards attached to a single sheet. Lobby cards? Cigarette cards? Size helps. I have a set of black & white silent film stars similar to this.

 

Actually, it looks like reprints of original cards laid out and printed on a single sheet.

 

Yeah, now that I enlarge it I see what you mean.

 

These appear to be approximately postcard size. I found them with my mother's stuff when I cleaned out her attic. I know she collected things related to movie stars when she was young. I was just wondering if they had a specific name, possibly a year that they may have been printed or any other information that might to relevant to them. Thanks.

My mother was born in 1927, so I think these portraits may possibly be from the 1940's era -- wondering if anyone can confirm that.

 

You can easily do an internet search to get the information you want. The names of the actors are provided and some photographs evev appear to have the name of the film the still is from.

Is the middle bottom one Johnny Mac Brown ??? He was in a Firefighter movie called FLAMES (1932), sometimes called Fire Alarm, I have it on VHS somewhere ...it was a "lost Movie" for a long time ....
