Featured Most Likely the Ugliest Piece of Pottery Ever Made

    :joyful: I got this in an auction box lot. It is unmarked and stands 5 3/4 inches tall. I don't know much about pottery pieces but it made me curious. Glazed under the base but unmarked. DSC02911.JPG DSC02914.JPG Probably Japanese? Happy Thanksgiving to all!!

    Geez, that is pretty ugly. I think some sort of Japanese censer pot. But slapdash effort for the Western market. :hilarious:

    Does appear to be a Satsuma censor pot without the Satsuma.
