Morganite Ring?

Purchased this guy fir $16 just because the stone shines all kinds of rainbow colors.so pretty! The woman stated she bought it at a place in nyc called “second time around”. Stamped 925 H or N? Not sure. It’s quite heavy and interesting looking and the stone is just so pretty. Looks like rose gold vermeil maybe? Any help? Value? Real gemstone? Is it even morganite or something else? I’m keeping it but just curious.

 

Could be cubic zirconia (CZ). Morganite is pink.

 

Morganite would be in gold. This looks more like a citrine.

Not citrine, with that vivid pleochroism (the rainbow colours). Could be zircon, but that would be used in higher quality jewellery. So I am with Bronwen, possibly cz.

I am not seeing rose. It looks silver on the photos, but if it is gold tone it could be vermeil.
Overhere you are only allowed to call it vermeil if the gold fineness is 18k and over, I don't know how that is in the US.

 

I bought it as 18k vermeil. Well that’s what she says. Definitely not silver. I think the gold is fading

You can make it stand out more with a gentle rub with a silver polishing cloth.
