    I’m still very much in the learning phase with glass but these two pieces came up at auction today and I liked the look of them so bid. Both appear to be signed. Can anybody offer any guidance or help with the identity. For what it’s worth, my gut feeling is Italian for the dark one and Scandinavian for the clear one - probably way off the mark.

    Studio glass is a mare. I don't think the second is Italian, fwiw. The technique is fused and slumped.

    @John Brassey
    I have a studio glass shallow bowl with the same mark as the first bowl you pictured! I've had it for years and never found the Maker's Mark.
    At some point I posted it either on eBay's PGP board or here on Antiquers. Slumped and fused/slump glass were the only things I learned also.
    I was hoping I could find my pictures online, but have had no luck searching boards. My old computer is broke and can't get to 'em that way.
    Fingers crossed that you get an ID!

    Thanks to your help I found another plate by the same maker but the seller hadn’t identified it either. It was listed in USA and the design described as Native American

    Given how clueless that seller is on their other glass, I don't give that much credence. ;)

    I've uploaded pictures of my studio glass piece with the same maker's mark as John Brassey's first bowl. Now we have three examples of this maker's mark in this thread.
