Monterey Jade Pottery Wall Pocket

Hoping someone might be able to give me some insight on this piece
I know the company started in 1948 and items are pretty collectible
Seeing prices ranging from 15 dollars to 150.
This wall pocket as i would call it? is 9 3/4" wide
Would this be on the higher or lower end of this pricing scale?

Looks like the bottom portion of one of those things that had the spigot in the top portion & the bowl hung below. You would put some type of greenery in this portion.

 

A lavabo? Or is that too fancy a name?

I have a MJ cake plate that my mother brought back for me from a business trip Dad took her on. Mid 80's if I recall. It's a bit different glaze though. More green background and more bright blue for the blotches than what I see in your pic.

 

Most of what i see is being called mid century Susan. If it was a lavabo, it's a wall pocket vase now. Lol

I'm sure they were around both before and after the time frame of the trip - which could have been as early as 1980. Before that Mom didn't go along because of kids at home.

Just wondering if the glaze combination is an indicator of when yours was made. I am only personally familiar with the green/blue on my plate (and the other things she brought back.)

 

Mine is more turquoise blue. real close to the pics.
