"Mono Print" dated 1968 - is this by a student or listed/good artist? Thoughts?

I found this at a thrift store today & it was interesting enough that I wanted to show you guys here & see what you thought of it?

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!

 

Possibly Bobby Logsdon of the Bobby Logston blues band,is the one depicted with the guitar.He was left handed.

 

Looks like a student work and not someone who graduated top of the class

Agree. Initial signature + surname spelled out and dated for the instructor.

Yeah i also agree at first look I immediately thought student work. It screams it in the theme, the lack of understanding on color layering, but also a professional print maker would never note on the print itself, instead of in the margin. Its an interesting piece, and not unpleasing though.
