Monkey Head Pottery Pot

    IMG_4377.JPG IMG_4378.JPG IMG_4379.JPG No handle so I guess not a mug. Could there have been a lid? Any suggestions on age and origin. Have to remove the felt leftover on the base and look for marks.

    I was gonna say a cactus planter but the angle of the top kinda throws that theory off.

    perhaps a tobacco jar or even a cookie jar both missing the lid!

    Size would be helpful.
    If about 4-5" diameter, I agree with tobacco humidor missing lid.
