Featured Money box age please

    Hi all picked up this money box because I liked the look of it and it looks pretty old bit I am no judge. Is made from timber and maybe plastic I believe. Missing a couple of small pieces unfortunately and has what looks like quite an old latch on the bottom. About 180mm wide and 120mm high.     my grandma had such a thing, but there was also a music box inside hers. Swiss chalet style souvenir. My grandma and great aunt travelled a lot to the alpine region after the war.

    I had one as well that was a music/jewelery box. From Switzerland in 1952.
