Molded Pottery Planter Any ideas?

    Picked this piece up because it looks like it has some age. Made of a heavy pottery /stoneware with a heavy white glaze. Yellow clay, thought it might be an Ohio maker. No marking, deeply embossed fruit design. Any thoughts on age or origin. Thanks in advance for any insight.

    Size might be helpful. I'm thinking it might be some type of crock as opposed to a planter.
