Modernist plaster sculpture large - Help please

hi all,
I’ve recently acquired this lot from auction. The poor mushroom shaped sculpture was the runt nobody except me wanted!!
It’s An unusual 20th century white plaster abstract sculpture in the form of a mushroom with pierced and shaped base. Heavy construction. Measures 50cms x 40cms approx. Tool marks visible. I need some assistance in turning this over to look at the base however I’ve been advised there are not evident stamps/ signature.
Any help would be much appreciated.

mine is a fraction bigger but wow even the tool markings and colour look the same

 

If it's unsigned, extremely unlikely you'll ever be able to identify artist. My suggestion would be to display and enjoy.
