Modern Chinese Pouring Pot, What Kind?

There is something like a tube connected to the spout. When you tilt the pot, it pours just whatever is in the canal. Then you have to put it back in horizontal position to refill the tube. Is there any term for this kind of pot and what it would be useful for?
I guess the "Made In China Something Something" mark would not matter as the pot appears to be quite recent.
    Thanks

Could be for sake. The traditional pots usually have a back or side handle. I think I never tested the one that had before.
The mark could be Japanese. I just recognized one character that reads China.

The top left mark does look like one of the characters used for Made in China, but not at all sure of those other markings. The Chinese could be copying Japanese style saki pots for that market. Also there has been porcelain/pottery done in Japan with imitation Chinese markings. Hopefully one of the Asian marks guru will chime in.

I have seen animal figural saki/e pots without conventional back. side, or top handles. The animal is the handle. Here are a few:

This is a dragon head saki pot with similar design on the front an coloring.

This Foo Dog/Lion one also has similar coloring. Only these one pic of it is still on the web. Can't find the completed auction page on eBay:
