i recently found this excellent variation of the classic Modeline California cactus lamp. Does anybody know a source for replacement cylinder glass shades?

No problem, just check here and if your photo is under 1 mb, it will show like the one I posted. :)

I'd search "domed cylinder frosted (or smoked, your choice) lampshade"

You'll have better luck with dimensions.

My choice would be frosted so you don't have to spend extra $$ on attractive domed light bulbs...

    Welcome, @Christophwilson!

Figtree3 What would you do if you weren't afraid?

They may take a while to find but it will be worth it when you do. I was not familiar with the lamp so went to look online.

Welcome to the forum Michael!!:happy:

You may get more responses if you start your own thread about your lamp. I also think you meant Bentwood lamp. ;):D:D

We don't usually give out value estimates as there are so many factors that influence price such as what type of venue you are selling at & your location.

I am not familiar with this type of lamp. Is it marked?

    Thanks, bercrystal,
I did some more research and it was described as a sculptured cobra Modeline Lamp. One was asking $1,195 and was sold. The other was asking $1,600 and the last one I saw was $1,395 at chairish with free shipping. Now that I have an idea of value I will put it in the selling forum. ( I'd let it go for much less than those prices, I need to get it out of the house which is for sale.) Thanks again for your response.
