Anyone know much about this? It seems to be a microscope lens perhaps, I just haven't been able to find another one like it online or value indication. It's probably an old microscope lens...
www.mitutoyo.com Its a 7x power magnification loupe... Nice one with the built in scales for measuring things... (electronics parts, jewelry, biological specimens etc)... a mini microscope per se.
Mitutoyo makes high-quality measuring and other sci/tech instruments. I'm as confident in my Mitutoyo instruments as those from Starrett. If u put that loupe up for sale let me know, I buy most everything "previously owned" but don't think I have one of those yet.
Thanks guys, I found out that it's also called a "Pocket Comparator Reticle". Mitutoyo seem to make some high quality stuff and all their items are expensive. The lense is in good condition, doesn't seem to be a single scratch.
