    Hello everyone,

    first timer here.

I bough this item a few years ago, but still haven'
t quite figured out what it is.
The paper can be slid in from the side and the back attachment means it can hung up.

    The stamp reads <star 964 ROMA> <M> <925>, so it can't be too old.

According to 925-1000.com, it's from Studio Emme srl, but I haven't been able to find out anything about this company.

Anyone know what this item was made for or when it was made?

    Cheers,
    Jenny

Lots of Studio Emmes floating around Italy but think yours is this one mentioned in a 1973 issue of Abitare, the Italian architecture and design magazine. Just a snippet but appears to be a photo caption crediting two bowls to Studio Emme. (English to the right.) Would have been part of a set; there are likely other, matching pieces out there.

    $48 for a lucite "clipboard"?? That's absurd.

Ah, but perhaps yours is more similar to this type of item by another Emme. Small decorative items, often made of silver, and sold in Italian confetterias in addition to sweets.

Ah, you didn't share with us that 925-1000.com associates the mark with a Studio Emme based in Rome. So not the copper pot design group which was based in Milan.
