front.jpg back.jpg Bear with me. We just got a Mac and I've never used one. It has different photo editing software so I'm not sure if I got the sizes right.

I've had this pendant, made by the Art company, forever. Unfortunately, someone borrowed it and wore it to a costume party in October and two of the very unique inserts were lost. I'm hoping some of our jewelry mavens might know where I could look for replacements. :(

Don't know why it has yellow dots. I'm learning to use Pixelmator.

I think it would be a miracle for you to come across something similar. Just a thought - get a couple of rectangular stones that fit and then reposition the existing stones so they alternate one plain and then one with the design on it.

Agreed, chances of just finding those unique replacements are close to zero. The only possibility I can think of is if you found the exact pin by ART, possibly with damage and could scavenge the pieces.

Is there a glue one can use to ensure that vintage costume jewelry doesn't lose stones when worn? Or would it be crazy to pry out all the stones just to glue them back in?

It makes me sick to see that beautiful piece like that. :(

There's a website called Mr Stones who might be able to help, but it's a long shot. They sell vintage rhinestones and other glass bits.

It wasn't supposed to be worn by someone who'd bang it around. My ex-daughter-in-law just decided to take it and who knows what she did with it. Dancing, flinging it around. Grrr. I wore it once or twice, but gently.

    I'll check Mr. Stones.

Looks like two pearls are also missing on the bottom.

Were the pearls missing when you got it or did that happen when it got loaned out?

I have a reason for asking.

The pearls went missing at the same time

Good news! Carolyn who has 1Womans Treasures Vintage Costume Jewelry found a carnelian one on Easy for $3. :)

An excellent resource, and based in Seattle, is Rhinestone Rosie,

She does jewelry repair, and is often able to match missing stones.

I've used her several times, always spot on with matching stones.

Rhinestone Rosie is great but she is expensive for repairs. I hate to say it but an Art piece does not warrant the expense unless there is a family, emotional connection beyond the monetary value of the piece.

For me as a reseller, I would probably see if I could find plain replacement stones the right size and replace all of them, but that is just me.

The pearls are an easy replacement. It is the glass stones with the line of small pearls that will be a problem.

You could look at this site, they often have unusual stones:

Let us know how this turns out :)

I ordered the carnelian one from an Etsy seller. He said he'd look for a green one. It only cost $3 plus minimal shipping - $6.57 altogether. I thought it was worth the try. When I get it, I may ask you to set it since I don't trust myself not to break something. It was my Aunt's so it does have that dreadful sentimental value.

I haven't received it, yet, so I contacted the seller.

Try to find someplace that does 3d printing, they can make anything.
