Featured Mirror mirror on the wall....

    Hello everyone I hope you are having a great Friday,

    Here's my first of a couple posts tonight. I got stuff in the mail today! This one arrived today, and luckily it didn't suffer any damage in the mail. I came across a listing for a silverplated mirror. I felt confident enough looking at the details that I gambled on it perhaps being something other than plated. Here's what arrived in the mail :) total was under $50, it's 9 1/2" in diameter:

    No better way to start the weekend than to have some silver to polish. Here's the final result on the mirror:

    OMG! What a difference!!!!!!!

    Every time someone posts a tarnished piece of silver asking if they should polish it I say YES!!!!!!!!

    Bingo! I knew it was good as soon as I saw the mirror itself. Then we had to find the marks.

    I had one here; I just sold it an a local antique store yesterday. If I haven't done anything with it in over a year maybe they will.
