    I bought this online today, and as it is England I am unlikely to cast an eye on it for a couple of months.

    I cannot find this Mark on any of the Internet pages that feature Mintons Marks, although I have found one of the same type on another piece of porcelain. So I am half-way satisfied that it is not a fake.

    Can somebody verify that:-
    (a) It is not a fake;
    (b) Does the "FRANCE" in the bar relate to the name of a product pattern design;
    (c) The period during which it was used;
    (b) Having read a couple of articles, I am confused as to whether Mintons ever had a factory in France?

    I look forward to and appreciate your thoughts and wise words.

    The first photograph shows is the mark on my egg cup:

    The above photograph is from a piece of porcelain I found o the Internet.

    Thank you all.

    It's fine. France is the pattern name.
