Featured Miniature Vase...Chinese?

    Looking for help on this miniature vase. Stands 2 7/8" tall. Base measures 1 1/8".

    Yes, I agree with Any Jewelry, this is Japanese, a miniature tokkuri and 19th c I guess.

    Mat, I am just curious about why you think it is from the 1800s. Any information will be appreciated. ;)

    Yourturntoloveit, this is a typical shape and the discussion is about whether these are libation bottles for an altar or just normal tokkuri. As this one is all hand decorated I think it is still 19th c, 20th c pieces are usually transfer decorated I believe. By the way, the decoration is the so called "Three Friends of Winter" pattern... Here is one I have, maybe a bit earlier than kraftblue's...
