Bought a bag of mini frames with portraits at a thrift shop in Charleston, SC. I’m open to any info as I know nothing about them.
    Thanks!

Ladies used to put these on their dressing tables, dressers etc. I'm not sure of the age but I'd think 1935-1950 or thereabouts.

Do you have a good magnifying glass or loupe?
Check both of them, but particularly the second one.

If they are hand painted you will see brush strokes. If they were transfers there will be little dots.

I'm betting the second one is hand painted and called a miniature. There may be some value if it is.

The first one appears to be hand painted over a transfer. She's pretty.

I think both are a little earlier than the 1930s.
