I found this interesting bracelet for sale at the local thrift. It reminds me of the murano bracelets I saw for sale in Venice, but the clasp makes me think it might be older. There aren't any marks on it, and it appears to be gold-plated. Any idea of the age or origin?

Are the panels micromosaic? Can't tell from pix. Almost certainly someone's souvenir of a visit to Italy.

I don't think so. The circular designs are one piece of glass. There are smaller pieces of red glass in the space between each circular piece.
I did a web search, but couldn't find anything precisely like it. The more recent ones seem to have round beads.

It immediately caught my eye when I spotted it at the thrift. :)

I'd say Italian, 1960s from the setting, and yes, someone brought it home.

They are slices (cross-sections) of millefiori rods.

I had one similar in the 70s. Gift from Spain or Gibralter.

It may have been bought there, but I doubt it was made there. Countries import and export: I have Deruta pottery bought in Spain, for example.

I was in Ireland looking at baseball caps to take home to DH, they all had tags saying Made in China :woot:
