Middle Eastern Vase

    This little vase stands 20cm tall and the decoration looks Middle Eastern. The shape is unusual.

    It has been turned on a wheel and is simply decorated under the glaze with a pattern that echoes Iznik styles but is not as fine.

    It has a hand painted letter on the base which looks like a T but is probably in Islamic script.

    Does anyone have any ideas on when and where it was made?
