Mid-century sailboat-w burger

    I bought this wonderful mid century painting yesterday (under 5 bucks)and am having trouble finding out anything about it online.
    Lower right hand corner reads WBurger...

    1960s - 70s style of painting, almost always framed in black. Don't know if there is a name for this style of painting or not. I don't think it falls under Impressionist, or does it?

    It's just the straight lines and bare mast that I find slightly disconcerting, but in a good way.
