Any home solutions for replating that spot that has lost the plate?

What are you going to do about the deformed handle?

 

I think the handles have been designed this way

 

Deformed? They are branches.

 

Are they both the same? I cannot see in the picture of the whole platter that they are. You have one "handle" picture that looks to me like one of the "twigs" has been separated from the rest - which I took as damage. If they are both the same, forget I said anything.
