Mexican wooden trays, hand painted angels

    Wasn't sure where to post, but hand-painted, so art it is!

    About 8 inches long, are these just trinket trays or for something specific? The foil label looks like it is from the 2nd half of the 20th century, maybe 1970's or so?

    Anything you can tell me, keywords etc. I couldn't find others out there, I think I need better search words.

    Thanks to both of you! Laura, that did bring a lot of matches. Mine are 8 inches long (some of the matches were bread bowls, and more like 24 inches long). Would these just be decorative trinket trays?

    Also, should I keep them together? Didn't know if something like this came in a set of sorts.
