Hi All, I got these 2 Mexican silver bracelets this week. I have this 1 photo right now, if you want I can take more:

Both have post 1979 marks. My question is...does it make sense to try and figure out who the silver smiths are? Can anyone point me in the right direction for that information? Or is that info not available so I should just sell them simply as post 1979 Mexican silver.

The one with onyx and malachite is marked "Mexico TA-150 925" the one with the onyx is marked "TV-83 Mexico" with what looks like scratches where the 925 would be. I know the T is for Taxco and the letter after is for the first letter of the maker's last name.

    Thanks for any advice :)

I'm not sure I'd bother looking. I'm betting the famous companies still mark their pieces with more than the required stamp.

NICE! The seller didn't have a clue whodunnit either, and apparently no one cared.

I love the style of them, especially the black one.

Sometimes it is, but these two are not in my Hougart.
Both are attractive though, especially the Modernist style onyx one, a good chunk of silver too. And as you see, asking prices are very nice. I hope selling prices are equally nice.:playful:

Thank you everyone, I think I will give them a try as modern Mexican silver :)
