Mexican? Pottery Pitcher

    The wording is in Spanish. I see MEG 1969.

    If that is indeed what it says, I think the word gesto means gesture.
    But that's all I know. :)

    litro...is.......litre (International spelling as used by the International Bureau of Weights and Measures) or liter (American spelling)

    I'm not sure Mexico is on the Metric system...

    Could be Spanish, rather than Mexican?

    I think the marks give the potter's name and the painter's name, along with a pottery mark and a date. If that's Mexican it's a step up on the usual tourist pieces.
