Metal Vase

This vase is 8" tall and has an overlaid floral design that I'm thinking is silver.

I can't read the mark. Is it copper or bronze? Is it Otto Heintz?

(A google search for the numbers brings up this exact same vase, the very one, but I got it here at an antique show this weekend for way less than that advertised price. Perhaps the online seller decided to bring it to the show, which must mean it didn't sell online.)

 

To clarify, I think this looks like a Heintz vase, and the number matches others identified online as being by him, but why doesn't this one have a proper mark?

I've looked at the collectors' website referenced in wlwhittier's recent post, but to no avail.

 

Id bet thats silver.Id polish it carefully with a cloth and try not to touch the bronze. Great piece.
