Metal vase...anyone recognize the imagery? India? Other?

I bought this on Ebay because the price was right even if it ends up being nothing. I don't have it yet but I'm attaching the pics from the listing. Seller called it a "dog eating elephant" vase...im not so sure thats whats happening here.

Does anyone recognize the imagery?

The images are pretty low res...once it arrives I'll get high res images up.

It looks Indian to me. A brass/bronze vase from the first half of the 20th century.
You can find many similar items on google, the handles are decorated with serpents, fish etc.

Here's some more detailed photos. I'm seeing some Hindu deities I believe, one with wings. Perhaps Garuda? And maybe Vishnu? The figures repeat in framed settings around the whole circumference. The entire surface of the vase has chased decoration. Not intricately detailed but a bit of work went into it.

I would agree with India, but I'm thinking maybe late 19th century.
