Metal lamp style?

Hey all! We might be posting in the wrong thread, but this lamp we've got is made of metal. It has a central bulb that illuminates the surrounding slide scenery and we're not sure about the name of its style. Anybody know? Thank you!

 

Nice lamp. i have seen similar before, but can't seem to recall what they are called. are the panels glass? hand painted on?

Vaguely mission in style,Im thinking it had a shade on the top perhaps.I think this is called lithopane glass.

 

Are there any markings?
The scenes don't look American.

There was a company call Helmscene but I don't think yours is one of those.

Arts and Crafts here. That boxy style with square cut inserts. Revival though, obviously.

 

@916Bulldogs123 Mikey, the panels are not glass, more like porcelain, and yes, they are handpainted on. Thanks @johnnycb09 ! @clutteredcloset49 Thanks for the leads, there are markings on the panes such as "Amsterdam Vondelpark" and "Bad Gastein" which are probably the scenes depicted. @Ownedbybear Interesting!

 

Hm. Given those images, it's almost Jugendstihl then. I wonder if it originally had a candle.

 

Could it be termed a "magic lantern" ?

 

Isn't a magic lantern a type of slide-projector? Like this thing?
