Metal Detecting Finds Age ID

    There was a box of metal detecting finds at the car boot and I picked out these two pieces as they interested me despite their very poor condition.
    The first maybe was a brooch (5.5cm long)although there doesn’t seem to have been an attachment at the other end? Or a pin of some sort but I’d have thought the attachment would have been at the other end? The end of the bar isn’t broken off although it looks as if it is but it’s missing whatever was attached to the stump.
    The red rose is enamel.
    The other is a fob (3cm)missing its intaglio.
    Any ideas on ageing either please or thoughts as to origin?

    It's probably for the wax seal.
