Yak meat? Pastries? Sun dried prunes? I don't have a darn clue what this Meridan Brittania warming dish was used for. Measure about 8 inches wide. Age? Looks art deco-ish 1920's? TIA!!

    Hi,
With the vent holes around the top, I vote for pancakes or toast

Several years ago I had this Mappin & Webb piece that was identified as a muffin dish on the eBay boards. (Could of knocked me over with a feather.) The bottom part was close to 8" across.
