I have had these for a while now, been to busy for a few months and finally decided to clear some things out of my room, these where at bottom of pile.

Are they from the 60's ? I haven't been able to find jeans with these type of pockets.

    Thank You

I seem to think care tags came out in the 1970s

Oh, I remember those (awful, impractical) pockets...............late 1960s to mid 1970s...............I think the model number is 544, but I have "lost" my link to the Levis' archives.............sorry!

Thanks Mansons, 1960's seems right to me. I think the pockets are just for mostly looks.

I THINK (not sure) that Levis was still making lady's jeans "backward" from men's (or men's backward from lady's for the non-sexist) in the 60s & 70s..............you might want to check against a pair of your own to see if they are left or right handed...................

Well, the label says "Levi's for men." I don't recall them make "ladies" versions that long ago.

I'm pretty positive they made a "lady's version" during WW II, but then again, I'm pretty positive that aliens ate my breakfast, sooooooooooooo.....................

and of course I totally missed the label.........................

I had a pair like this in the early '70s - they were definitely making 'ladies' jeans, but we wore men's a lot of the time...

Looks like those we wore in early 70's. Bell bottoms were worn to protest marches on college campuses all over U.S.A.
