    @Charliebfc
    Have you tried taking photo`s of your items on a flat surface and then cropping them so there is less background ?

    When you have taken the photograph there should be a crop edit feature, it saves having to resize pics.

    Reason I put meet the Robinson family some might find that word offensive,

    If I Remmember righty you had to collect so many labels of jam jars or marmalade

    Then send them off for your badge,

    They know how to market in them days

    Also tried biding on a shop displayfigure several times at auctions but lost out

    They can go up to £300 before commission

    But will end up getting one

    I am of the opinion that eBay has shown their bias by no longer allowing that item for sale.

    It's all about money with EBay if they think it can cause them a bit of bother they shut it down and won't allow you to sell it,

    I once put a Adolf Hitler statue it was a repro on for sale I got a real snotty e-mail telling me how it was against the rules to put on Nazi Memorabilia ,

    Don't get me wrong I perfectly under Stand how that would be offensive to someone

    But it the way they personally contacted me and the way they threated you with more action if I posted anything else like that,

    Not kidding it was if they was going to sue me,

    The casual racism that I grew up absorbing in the 50s 60s meant that items such as a Golly were normal. Many years later I understand the implications much better, but do not think such items should be banned on Ebay, nor should many other items some of historical significance.

    All that apart, I can well remember walking along the canal in Manchester seeing the hot water outlet from the jam works and the tropical fish that had made a home in the artificially warm water!
