From colour and style I believe this is a mid-century modern vase. There is marking on the bottom, but I'm not sure what it reads. Can anyone help i.d. the maker/style/name? And since the marking is permanent, is there a proper way to refer to that type of "branding?" It is roughly 8 inches tall; 4 3/4 in at top,; 3 inches across the bottom. TIA

Figtree3 What would you do if you weren't afraid?

That's what I was thinking when I saw the mark... but am not an expert.

It is shown in my Shawnee book as Confetti. The one pictured in the book states that it is marked Kenwood..... searching the net found that Kenwood was an "upscale line" of Shawnee.

You can find examples on eBay.

Yes! It is Shawnee, number 2102. Confetti is the treatment, and Kenwood is the style. ITo me it is an aqua, but a similar piece on eBay calls it mint green.

Thank you to all of you.
