Sure wish I could find the matching soup bowls to this McCormick piece! The Good Will I bought it from had the *whole* set, but they were selling them individually and wanted as much for the large bowl as they did the small matching soup bowls; but I didn’t have the money on hand for the whole set. Sadly, when I returned, the soup bowls were all gone! (It broke my heart when the individual bowls were gone since I wanted to complete the set!) Though, I wonder if some were produced with and without a copper-colored wire bail (handle/ hanger "thingy"), since mine doesn't have one; but, I have seen others with the wire bail at the Brass Armadillo in Des Moines, and in a much brighter color of glaze...almost a coppery hue! I bought mine for $6, while the brass Armadillo piece was being sold for $40 or so.

Hmmmm...I wonder how much it might cost to get a wire bale made for my ceramic cauldron? Heck, I wonder if this is oven-safe, and how I would go about cooking with it in an oven since it's made to hold hot food. Also, how would you recommend caring for the longevity of this item?
