    Good evening,
Hope everyone is enjoying their summer so far. I've come across a copy of the book "New York" by Max Tak, and I have noticed that there is a version that is titled "This is New York". There is also a stamp of different colors on the respective versions. I've included pics of the covers of both versions. Any ideas on why the title would change?

    Many thanks,
    Brook Seifert

Probably just a different edition. Most likely one will pre-date the other.

Back when the pre-Raphaelite painters were out of fashion, a book about them called "The Pre-Raphaelite Tragedy" was written by William Gaunt. When their popularity was resurrected, the book was re-published as "The Pre-Raphaelite Dream".

If this is a tourist guide, it would need to be updated periodically. The one with the streamlined title just looks like a later edition.

Wow, that is a blast from the past. In the 60s we used to listen to his reports from New York on Dutch radio.
Max Tak was a Dutch journalist, musician, and composer.
