Mauve Pottery 2 Handled Vase - White Clay

    Does anyone know the maker of this mauve/rose colored pottery vase with asymmetrical top edge? It stands about 8-1/4" at its tallest. The center of the bottom is glazed with an unglazed white edge.     Looks like an Abingdon shape but that's usually clearly marked.

    And now that I look at Abingdon it's pretty much symmetrical.

    The glaze is reminiscent of Catalina Island, or Van Briggle...but either of them would bear an appropriate mark.
    As would Frankhoma...

    Aquitaine Is What It IS! But NEVER BORED!

    Taken from the bottom of your LAST image, I had thought there might be a signature in that white rim.....but on magnification it tends to resemble just some numbers and scratches......you might want to see if it's possible to clean it off along that white rim....carefully & gently of course!!
