Masons patent ironstone plate

    I picked this up in Wilmslow. I was about to leave the shop empty handed when I saw the edge shining from the bottom of a box underneath several other plates. There was no price so realised it hadn't been priced yet. Thought I'd take a chance and ask how much and they priced it up for me there and then.

    I think it's early 19th C but not 100%. I've not really found any other examples online other than it being catalogued here under pattern B4678. It seems RCD used the pattern as well.

    Cool. There were many versions of imari decoration by many factories. RCD is the best known for imari these days. Nice find!

    Thank you. I found some other lovely patterns while looking for this. Double landscape stood out.
