Marriage cup

or sugar bowl?

2-1/2 inches across the top and about 1-3/4 tall. Sterling, Germany, "PS".

 

A very small sugar bowl maybe. It's a pretty little fellow, isn't it.

Except for the size, it actually looks like a cache-pot. Not a marriage (or wedding, or loving) cup, and they have two handles with the bottoms attached to the bowl as well as the top. (Rather looking like Mrs. MacGregor, hands on hips, yelling at the rabbits to get out of the garden.) Said attachment is to prevent spillage among or upon the various drinkers.
