Marked Miniature French Stoneware Vase?

    ... Well I picked it up in France (I think I was given it!), so it is possible that it is French.

    The fact that it is marked surprises me. I mean it is so small - like 1.75 inches tall - with a diameter of just over 1.5 inches. The French call this Pyrite I think. It could be mid century.

    The mark might begin with a B or even a J ... I think someone who knows will spot it straight away!

    So, what do you reckon?
